Kristin is originally from Scotch Plains, NJ. After receiving her masters degree from Monmouth University, she spent the first ten years of her professional life working as a child therapist and school counselor in Union County. 

Shortly after becoming a mom, Kristin sought out the perfect photographer for her daughter. There was a true void in Monmouth County for a photographer that had a eye for design and the patient and warm personality that was needed when working with new mothers and little ones. Rather than expanding her search outside of the area, Kristin Baker Photography + Design was born.

As you'll soon find out, Kristin's personality is a little extra. True to form, Kristin sought out the best in the business and traveled around the country to learn and perfect her craft. Kristin trained personally with several world-renowned photographers. This mentoring allowed Kristin to learn the importance of newborn safety and posing, while honing in on her craft. 

Kristin has photographed over 700 newborns and worked with over 1,500 families. Her work has been recognized in several publications including People Magazine and Yahoo News. Her work has been praised by photographers around the world. With an eye for design and a love for all things organic, modern, and timeless; Kristin has created a luxury brand that'll leave you with beautiful memories for years to come!
