Services
East Coast Baby is like the Ivy League for new parent education and support. All information and resources are evidence-based and supported by the American Academy of Pediatrics. Support is tailored to meet each family’s needs and goals, and safety and security are top priorities.
Postpartum and Infant Care Support helps overwhelmed parents as they navigate those early sleepless nights and recovery from childbirth. East Coast Baby encourages parents to sleep as often as possible, recover safely, and manage their expectations. Postpartum and Infant Care Doulas at East Coast Baby are postpartum and newborn baby experts who become an extension of the family, supporting parents in their goals and philosophies. Doulas assist in birth recovery, provide infant care, educate parents on feeding (breast or bottle), provide sleep education, help with sibling care, do light housekeeping, do meal preparation, and screen for signs of postpartum mood disorders.

East Coast Baby also provides Infant Feeding Support because learning to feed a new baby isn’t easy! Whether your baby takes the breast or bottle, infant feeding comes with a variety of challenges. Laura Fitzgerald supports parents through the first year of feeding their baby, helping them recognize what is normal and what is not through compassionate care and expertise. Moms can experience compassionate support, top-tier education, and a variety of options within their chosen feeding philosophy.
