Baby Roose, 14 days New
It may not be the most professional way to run a business, but I often become friends with my clients. I love working so closely with families that it's usually a natural progression. This makes every session even more important to me because it becomes personal. The Ward family holds a special place in my heart. I first met them when I took newborn photos of Carter and Pierce. They were my first set of twins and my third newborn session ever. If you’ve done a newborn session with me, you’ve probably heard me refer to the amazing mom that came with four kids under 4, alone, and showed up on time! If there is ever a mom that has it together, it’s Jackie! She’s a beautiful mom that I admire so much! I was super excited to work with her again as their family welcomed baby number 5, Roosevelt.
I was admittedly SUPER nervous for this session. Photographing five children (ages 5, 3.5, 18-month twins, and a newborn) can make for a challenging session. This family knocked it out of the park! These adorable kids, all named after presidents, were so well behaved and were so loving toward their littlest brother. I love the way that Kennedy and McKinley cared so much for their little brother. They were protective and very eager to hold him. As little as Carter and Pierce are, they definitely understood that Roose was their little brother; they were so sweet with him. I’m in awe of these family shots!
Roose was the most adorable little guy. He’s super laid back and has the sweetest disposition. He’s so loved by his older siblings, it seriously melted my heart to see them all together!
Like I said before, this session was super special to me. I love when I get a chance to watch a family grow. The love between all of them was so evident, I literally teared up editing these photos.
